A long time coming...

She tells me, ‘I lost
my virginity last night’.
It’s rather sudden.

15/04/11
Late, and attempting
neat nail varnish on the tube
while he holds the pot.

16/04/11
A children’s movie.
LOUD SNEEZE. Parents’ blessings from
both the front and back.

18/04/11
Stoic faces and
talks of eye operations.
Not quite dinner chat.

19/04/11
He left this morning.
My sheets were changed; I can’t
smell him anymore.

20/04/11
A clamp on my lid
held it still. They drained the cyst
(what a graphic word).

21/04/11
So, it’s official:
two eyes are better than one.
A crusted eye patch.

22/04/11
He gave me a hug
and I could feel him thinking
“This is the last time”.

26/04/11
As the train approached
I watched him through the window
trying to spot me.

28/04/11
‘I can’t imagine
Him as a child’ I thought, as
we walked round his school.

Creative (I hope) Writing

I have to write a Haiku a day for easter, so i'll probably be posting them here, or on my other site, intermittently throughout the three weeks. Do give me any feedback you think of, if you can.
